Information we collect
Learning data (lookup history, vocabulary, review and training results) stays on your device by default. Account information (your email) is provided only when you choose to sign in, and credentials are kept in the system keychain. Diagnostic logs include device information only when you manually export and submit them, and never contain learning content.
How we use information
The information collected is used only to provide and improve the product: syncing progress, processing subscriptions and payments, and responding to support requests. Your learning content is never used for advertising or for training any model.
Storage and security
Learning data is stored inside the app sandbox. Transfers are encrypted with TLS, synced copies are stored encrypted on our servers with keys bound to your account, and cloud copies are deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Third-party services
Cloud model requests are handled by third-party model providers; the request content is used only for that generation and is neither retained nor used for training. Apart from this, we do not sell, rent or share your personal information, except where required by law.
Your rights
You are in full control of your data, including:
- Accessing and exporting all learning data at any time
- Correcting or deleting specific data
- Turning off cloud sync and cloud model calls
- Deleting your account and all of your data
You can exercise these rights in Settings › Data inside the app, or by submitting a request on the contact page.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be announced in the app and on this site. Continuing to use the product after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
